DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TRANSPORT SERVICES!

We agreed to have Transport Services pick up our car in Chicago on Januaryr 11th with delivery promised in FL on the 15th. Shawn assured us that it would be picked up on the 11th but said it might be as late as the 12th due to possible weather delays. We agreed to pay TS more than other quotes we had received because he said that TS "owns their own trucks". NONE OF THIS WAS TRUE! As we waited for pick up, we continued to call Shawn and NEVER received any return call after MANY messages. We did finally reached Nicole in "Customer Service" who continued to refer us to driver after driver, none of whom ever showed up. We were also told, as another reviewer cited, that calls could be received but not made by TS, which was the reason that we never received returned calls. We left Chicago for FL thiinking that the pick was coming as promised. OUR CAR WAS NEVER PICKED UP! When we reached the dispatcher we were told that our $150 deposit would not be refunded because we had actually agreed to have the car picked up on the 16th and they were still within the the 7-day protective window. NOT TRUE! She was being fed responses by another individual, just as another reviewer cited. We had to rent a car to get to our eventual destination and so incurred an additional cost of $218.54. Right now we are preparing a letter to TS to recover these costs. If we don't, we are forwarding this complaint to the BBB, the Federal Motor Carrier Administration, the Interstate Commerce Commission and the FL Department of Transportation.

BOTTOM LINE, DO NOT CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE DISHONEST, UNSCRUPULOUS AND HAVE A COMPLETE DISREGARD FOR THE CUSTOMER.
