My car was delivered as promised but there were a few hiccups along the way. This rating is only thanks to the driver that got the vehicle to my son. This was my first time transporting a vehicle and I had the service requested over a month in advance. We were open for pickup but had a specific delivery window - my son was going to school and he wouldn't be available to sign for the car and we were only going to be there to drop him off. I contacted Mike Janco (my logistics advisor) because we still didn't have a driver assigned and were going to be leaving the next day. About two hours later I received the email/text that there was a driver scheduled for the next day and he would call me when he was about an hour away.
I sent a text to the driver requesting a more accurate time of arrival. We were leaving the next day but could possibly delay the time so that we could be there for pickup. When he informed me that he was delayed and wouldn't arrive until Thursday (the day after we left) I emailed Mike with my concerns about the delivery. I also brought up that my card was charged more than what I was told it would be. I got an email reply that he would look into it and that's the last thing I heard.
Before we left I called the carrier directly and was assured that it would be picked up in time to be delivered as contracted. We could have the neighbor sign for pickup and hand the driver the keys. When I finally got the call from the driver, he was going to be to my house around 8 or 9 pm. I was told the scheduled delivery was four days, so I was quite concerned that the vehicle wouldn't arrive before we left. This would mean additional costs for a hotel stay and missed work while we waited for the vehicle. Since I still hadn't heard from Mike I called him. He sounded confused and said he thought everything was fine since we last spoke. Really? My car had STILL not been picked up and we were already on the road. There was still no response to my account being charged more than what was promised. When I asked him what would happen if the car wasn't delivered on time he got agitated. Rather than assure me that everything would be okay, he tried to hurry me off the phone saying he could find out what's going on "if I could do my job".
Apparently his "job" ended once he got a driver assigned. I never got tracking information - as stated on the website - and anything related to the pickup/delivery was handled through ME contacting them.
