Bill of Transport Connection showed up and helped me navigate the Wild West of car transport. Once I put in an inquiry, I was flooded with calls, texts, and emails from various places and from the first few contacts, I could tell "bait and switch" was a common tactic. I also noticed reviews of these companies often mentioned being charged more than the agreement and being ghosted on pick up or delivery. Bill called and stood out among the crowd because he emphasized earning great reviews and being very involved from start to finish. He then helped me understand some of the dubious tactics other carriers employ when he pointed out that I was already "claimed" by a service within their system even though we had not come to any agreement and their first tactic after providing a quote (knowing all the details of the job) was to tell me it wasn't a popular route and it would cost more (so I ditched them immediately, but they still tried to keep others from bidding on the job). Bill helped find a carrier, spoke to them personally and had me speak to them. The actual driver was very friendly and was extremely detailed with the loading and unloading of our cars. Due to the current situation with the pandemic, traffic was extremely light on the interstates and the driver made excellent time, so our cars were delivered earlier than anticipated. I was able to make arrangements for a pickup with my family member and had my car waiting for me the next morning. If I ever have to move any vehicles, I am calling Bill again. He checked in on me along the way and was just generally a pleasant person to interact with. It's 100% worthwhile to have someone like Bill in your corner during the chaos of moving and having to transport vehicles.
