Bill was the first of the many brokers who contacted me first. I have shipped my car before using brokers so I knew what the process was like. His quote was lower than many other websites so i agreed on a contract with him. I had to pay him $150 for the deposit using my credit card, but that could be the process. Some brokers demand a payment upfront, some don't. I was quoted $150 for shipment originally, and got a called back a day before the pick update asking if I was willing to increase the shipping fee by $25. The total was slightly less than what I originally quoted for, so I went for it. I understand the process so I didn't mind paying slightly extra. Brokers and Drivers make a living from this.
