As you can also see, this is not a very intelligent individual as his BULLSHIT review exhibits very poor grammatical structure and he certainly would never win in a spelling bee contest. First off, let's get the facts straight as Ian Quincannon has them all wrong: This FLAMING ASSHOLE'S (my high opinion of him of course) name is Ian Quincannon. This LOW-CLASS SCUMBAG (again, my high opinion of him of course) requested an online quote from me on 6/15/16 through a lead provider's website. He called me to discuss the shipment of a 2012 Fiat (Fiat stands for Fix It Again Tony) from OH to NJ. He received an automated quote response from my software system, and such a quote is merely a ballpark estimate and not an exact price. During our conversation, he praised my excellent reviews and even commented on how he admired my response to another non-customer named Dave Derecola who wrote a malicious and slanderous review similar to Quincannon's. Quincannon then proceeded to send me emails attempting to chisel me on my broker's fee and tried to beat me up on the overall price of the transport, mostly which is under the discretionary control of the individual carrier who decides whether or not to accept the broker's posted bid. I repeatedly replied with the same responses: As a broker, I only have control over my own broker's fee and I quote a range of prices for a carrier, and there is not going to be an exact price until such time as a carrier has been secured. Keep in mind that this is going back and forth and I quickly surmised that in my opinion, Ian Quincannon was a TWO-BIT CHEAPSKATE and that I wouldn't ship his vehicle for ANY amount of money because I have a very simple business policy and model: I DON'T DEAL WITH ASSHOLES AND/OR CHEAPSKATES. Let's address his slanderous allegations one at a time: 1. "Within minutes of the first conversation he was telling me that all the other carriers were "pieces of shits in boiler room call centers in florida" and that he was the president of his company so he would handle things better." FALSE: THAT I TOLD HIM THAT ALL OTHER CARRIERS WERE "PIECES OF SHITS (SIC) IN BOILER ROOM CALL CENTERS IN FLORIDA". THIS MORON SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT CARRIERS DO THE PHYSICAL HAULING OF VEHICLES AND THAT BROKERS USUALLY HIRE TELEMARKETERS (MOST OF WHOM LIE AND UTILIZE DECEPTIVE SALES PRACTICES) TO FIND CARRIERS FOR CUSTOMERS. HE SEEMS TO FAIL TO REALIZE THE DISTINCTION BETWEEN A BROKER AND A CARRIER. TRUE: THAT I AM THE PRESIDENT OF TRANSPORT CONNECTION AND THAT I GET THE JOB DONE BETTER THAN ANY OTHER COMPANY (ANYONE CAN READ MY INCOMPARABLE REVIEWS AND SEE THAT THIS IS AN INDISPUTABLE FACT. 2. "He then claimed they were a bunch of low life cubans that sit in cubicles in south florida collecting checks and that they "don't deserve to be alive" because they cut into his business. I have a lot of latino friends and I found that offensive." FALSE: BROKERS THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY ARE OF ALL DIFFERENT ETHNICITIES AND NATIONALITIES AND I CERTAINLY NEVER MADE THAT LUDICROUS COMMENT. IT SEEMS AS THOUGH IAN QUINCANNON HAS A VERY ACTIVE IMAGINATION AND A WARPED SENSE OF HUMOR. 3. "he then proceeded to tell me how successful he is and how he owns an aston martin as if he was going to gain my business by impressing me." TRUE: I DO OWN A 2011 ASTON MARTIN DB9 IN ADDITION TO A 2013 PORSCHE 911 CARRERA S AND A 2015 JEEP WRANGLER WILLYS EDITION, AND I COULD REALLY CARE LESS ABOUT IMPRESSING IAN QUINCANNON OR ANYONE ELSE WITH MY AUTOMOTIVE TOYS. I AM A CAR ENTHUSIAST WHO BUYS WHAT HE LIKES FOR THE SHEER DRIVING PLEASURE AND PRIDE IN OWNERSHIP EXPERIENCE THAT THEY PROVIDE, AND NOTHING MORE. "He said his competition all throw low-ball offers to get you in the door and then change the price. He then proceeded to throw me a low ball offer." FALSE: WHILE MANY BROKERS LOW-BALL QUOTE CUSTOMERS TO GET THEM IN THE DOOR, NOT ALL ENGAGE IN THIS BAIT-AND-SWITCH PRACTICE. TRANSPORT CONNECTION DOESN’T BAIT-AND-SWITCH. 5. " He then proceeded to throw me a low ball offer. Within a few hours from that offer he sent me another price that was 60 dollars higher then he threw me an even higher price. When I tried to ask for a price in between his first and second quote and work with him, he said I was a "fucking retard" who didnt know anything about anything. I am fully aware how bidding on central-dispatch works. I told him I felt everything mentioned above was very unprofessional and I wasn't interested in him handling my bid." FALSE: AGAIN, TRANSPORT CONNECTION DOES NOT BAIT-AND-SWITCH ON THE PRICE. THE INITIAL AUTOMATED QUOTE THAT HE RECEIVED CONSTITUTED THREE DIFFERENT SHIPPING LEVELS ( STANDARD, EXPEDITED, AND ENCLOSED). ALL QUOTES ARE THEN INDIVIDUALLY CHECKED BY MYSELF AND ALL FIGURES ARE THEN ROUNDED OFF. ONCE I VERBALLY DISCUSS THE AUTO TRANSPORT PROCESS, I EXPLAIN MY ROLE AS A BROKER AND THE RANGE OF PRICING THAT CARRIERS EXPECT TO RECEIVE FOR ANY GIVEN ROUTE. THIS HALF-WIT APPARENTLY HAS NO CLUE AS TO HOW CENTRAL DISPATCH WORKS OR HOW I HAVE MY OWN UNIQUE METHOD OF BIDDING AND NEGOTIATING PRICING WITH CARRIERS ON THAT WEBSITE. IF HE IS SUCH AN EXPERT AND KNOWS ABOUT CENTRAL DISPATCH, THEN WHY DOESN'T HE GET HIS OWN ACCOUNT WITH THEM AND SHIP HIS CARS HIMSELF RATHER THAN GOING THROUGH A BROKER? 6. "I told him I felt everything mentioned above was very unprofessional and I wasn't interested in him handling my bid. I then proceeded to check his so called stellar reviews on Transport reviews and I came across a customer complaining about him being vulgar and cursing the guy out. his rebuttal to this can be seen here http://www.transportreviews.com/Company/Transport-Connection/Reviews/239207/ where he bashes the person filing the complaint saying he has "acute asshole syndrome" and proceeds to explain the definition of acute asshole syndrome. Again, keep in mind he is the president of his company." He then proceeded to call me a failure and poor for only being able to afford a fiat 500, even tho it was a gift for my mother. I have provided the voicemails and documentation to Transport Reviews as evidence as well as screen shots. He left them all with his company number he advertises on his quote email so he can't deny it. Then he started calling me from blocked numbers."
