This was my first time shipping a car across country, and I needed to send my son's car (Honda Fit) from Los Angeles, California to Boston, Massachusetts. After doing some initial research, I called Bill, the owner of Transport Connection at 4:00 pm PST on Friday 3/13/2015 and put in my order. Bill was friendly, knowledgeable and courteous and answered the few remaining questions I had about the shipping process. This was 7:00 pm on Friday evening his time (east coast time), therefore I did not expect much to happen before the following Monday. However, three hours later, Bill called back with a carrier (Longhaul Auto Transport) on the line. After further discussion, we agreed on a tentative pick-up, two days later. A further call from Thomas of Longhaul Auto Transport the next day, nailed down the pickup time for 9:00 am on Sunday, 3/15/2015. Pickup was on time and Thomas turned out to be friendly and helpful. My son's car was the first on the trailer and was likely to be one of the last to be delivered, and as such, Thomas estimated the delivery day to be Monday or Tuesday the following week. Thomas called or texted his location each evening the following week and eventually coordinated with my son, in Boston for delivery on Sunday 3/22/2015, one to two days early. In summary, the entire process was smooth, fast and painless. I would have no hesitation in using Transport Connection and Longhaul Auto Transport again, or recommending their services to others.
