Two vehicles transported from different locations

I obtained several quotes for transportation of two vehicles; one from Atlanta, MI and one from Plymouth, MN, both to be delivered to York, PA. Bill from Transport Connection called me to discuss my needs following my request for a quotation and based on the conversation I had with him, and the reviews posted on this site, I decided I would use Bill's service when the cars became available for collection.

The first vehicle became available a week or so following our conversation. Bill had warned me the pickup location was an out the way place and it might be difficult to get a carrier for this job. This opinion was verified by several other carriers, some of whom could not even give me an estimate of how long it would take to pick up the vehicle. I called Bill on a Monday and he posted the job and suggested he should be able to get a carrier in the $600 - $700 range. The next day he called me with a carrier (Advance Motors LLC) who was offering to take on the job for $700 and pickup by the end of the week. Bill sent me ratings and details of the carrier and everything looked OK. The carrier picked the vehicle up on the Friday and it was delivered the following Tuesday. The vehicle was in good shape and the carrier was very friendly and obliging. Full marks all round for this one.

The second car became available on a Wednesday. I called Bill and he posted the job and expected to get a carrier for $600 - $700. The next day he called me with a carrier (UFC Transport LLC) who was offering to take the job for $650 with pickup by the end of the week . The car was picked up on the Saturday and delivered in good condition the following Tuesday. The car was in good shape and the carrier was again friendly and obliging. Full marks all round for this one too.

Bill is very knowledgeable and lets you know what to expect. He calls situations as he sees them so be prepared for some straight talking. He was able to get both my vehicles picked up within days of engaging him, including one from a very remote location, and both vehicles were delivered within 4 days of pickup. I have never used a transport company before and I found the options, prices and customer service levels to be all over the board. However, Bill did what he told me he would, at the price he told me he would and was always available for updates / advice. What could have been a very stressful process ended up being a very simple one. I would definitely use Bill's service again and I would highly recommend anyone considering auto transportation to contact Bill for a no nonsense, top quality service.
