I learned a lot about the car transport business in the last week. First of all there are brokers and carriers. Brokers are more prevalent on the web and come off as transporters. They are the ones who make you put a "deposit" on your credit card, then you pay the driver, (the actual transport company) cash. In reality the deposit is the brokers fee for connecting you with the car carrier and in actuality all the broker does is go on a central dispatch, place your order and see who answers up from the thousands of car carriers. Once they respond back to the broker, the broker notifies you of your carrier and its all done for the broker.
Nothing against brokers and sometimes they are better to deal with than the carriers, but if you are going to be broker, return calls, follow up on the whereabouts of the customers car, and earn your fee. Don't just take the money and run.
Trans Auto is a new broker company and not bad people but they need to work on customer skills. Overall, I feel if they listen and learn from this review, I'm sure Phil and the boys will be fine.

I first want to express that we are very pleased that everything went okay with the transport. Ultimately, that is the main goal with this industry. Furthermore, your feedback is greatly appreciated because it will make us a better company moving forward. I apologize if the communication was not as it should be, but its an area that we are going to focus on immediately. If you need your vehicle transported again in the future, please contact us and we will give you an immediate $50 simply because the service was not top notch.
