On June 11th we contacted this company and they rushed us to give them our credit card so they could get the car shipped by the following Friday. Picup date June 18.
No one ever showed, and that first phone call was the last time we would be able to call a representative directly. We were only allowed to leave messages with a "phone answer guy".
Finally after two more weeks (July 2nd) and getting phone disconnects, and poorly executed, obvious phone games(never calling us). It occurred to us that they probably have no intention of shipping our car.
No contract, account number, or order number was ever provided.
My wife was to be in Hawaii at this time and needed the car there by now of course.
On July 2nd I HAD TO LEAVE A MESSAGE WITH THE "PHONE GUY" that they were fired and I required an immediate refund of the deposit.
Immediately I was talking to a "CUSTOMER SERVICE" lady and a guy posing as the "OWNER" . They magically were available after all? (his name seems to change with every customer I am noticing.). This organization may just be a group of shipping, con-artists that are surviving on the fringe of the auto-transport industry.
While the owner tried to tell me what I was going to do, it occurred to me that these people are just signing people up to get the deposit. So I found auto-reviews.com and my fears were realized. Looking at the other stories I am positive that these guys are not legit.
I canceled the credit card so they couldn't try to illegally extort more money. Refuted the $200 charge and intend to file a claim the attorney generals office and have already contacted the Miami FBI moving fraud division. The Better Business Bureau is also an option.
