I WANTED TO MOVE MY CAR FROM Warner Robins, GA TO Dublin, CA. I SPOKE TO Andrew of Town & Country Auto Transport DURING ORDERING PROCESS, Andrew WAS VERY INTERESTED IN GETTING MY BUIESNESS PARTICULARLY MY CREDIT CARD #, VERY PROMPT IN REPLYING TO EMAILS AND PHONE CALLS UNTILL GOAL IS ACHIVED WHICH IS TO OBTAIN YOUR CC AND CHARGE $ 200 DEPOSIT. SO FINALY I SUBMITTED MY CC #, OH BOY….WHAT A BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!, AFTER THAT HE JUST DISAPPEARED.
ON CHECKING STATUS IT APPEARED THAT MY CAR WAS SCHEDULED TO BE PICKED UP ON 05/31/04 FROM GA AND BE DELIVERED to CA, WAS INFORMED THAT DRIVER WILL CALL ME 6-24 HRS. PRIOR TO PICK UP, FINE HAPPY SO FAR. OH MY ITS 05/31/04 3:00 PM CST AND NOBODY CALLED SO FAR ABOUT PICKUP, SO TRIED CALLING Town & County, AFTER 5 calls THEY INFORMED ME THAT THEY HAD SOME DELAYS WITH THE TRUCK AND SOMEONE WOULD CALL WITH A NEW DATE OF PICK UP. (YA RIGHT)
NEXT 4 DAYS ARE LIKE WORST POSSIBLE NIGHTMARES YOU CAN IMAGINE, I SPENT time ON HOLD CALLING Town & Country MULTIPLE TIMES SPEAKING TO VARIOUS REPS. TRIED TO TALK TO MANAGER Nick Chase BUT HE WAS NEVER AVAILABLE AND EVERY TIME I GOT THE ANSWER their has been a delay YOU HAVE TO WAIT” NO OTHER ALTERNATIVE. NOW I AM WORRIED WHAT KIND OF CO. IS Town & Country THAT INSPITE OF TRYING MULTIPLE TIMES AND LEAVING MULTIPLE MESSAGES, THEY WILL NOT RESPOND.
I FINALY DECIDED TO CANCEL MY ORDED WITH Town & Country AND they refused to give me a refund of my deposit so I asked to speak with a MGR NICK CHASE and he was always busy or could not talk or he will call me back after calling 5 or 6 times a day I finally gave up and I called my credit card company. Then after two weeks Nick calls and says he has a truck that can pick up my car and ask why I canceled. He still could not give me my deposit back because he would have to talk to his boss and he would call me back. Never heard from Nick again. This company is a scam and a flake. Do not use very poor company. BEWARE OF TOWN & COUNTRY AUTO TRANSPORT.
