Car Was Driven Part Way and Item stolen

I had our car transported from Florida to New Jersey a few weeks ago. The car was picked up and delivered on timeand arrived in good shape. However, when I looked at the odometer it was clear that the car had been driven around 350 miles by the shipping company Expess Motor Lines out of Miami. I came to this conclusion because the car was serviced the day before at a Honda dealership and it noted the odometer reading. In addition, a fairly expensive sweater was stolen from the trunk.
When I called Total Shipping they reacted with surprise and they said they would get back to me after they had looked into the matter. They never called back. I called again today and they kept me on hold until I hung up and called again. The next man Troy answered and told me that he would also look into it and recommeneded that I do the same and he gave me the telephone # of Express Motor Lines. I called them and their # is disconnected. You can connect the dots on this one. I guess I can consider myself lucky that I got my car at all.
