They pointed out how the system works- they bid on your behalf on a national market, and the price will vary upon flows - for example, it is expensive to ship cars from New York to Florida in the Fall but cheap in the other direction. In the Spring it switches. Andif you bid low, it may take some time for a shipper to bother with you.
