I initially booked another transport company, which had a number of negative reviews about being able to contact the company. I booked over 3 weeks before my pickup date and had no voice contact with a representative. After 2 days into the 5 days before my selected pickup date, I tried to contact the company and got a voice mail that their voice mailbox was full. After numerous attempts, I obtained a different number which was used to contact the broker by a transport company and left a message to cancel my order. I contracted with Car Transporters Inc. and was able to contact them directly to coordinate the move of my car. They normally would answer the call or if I left a voice mail they returned my call promptly. It took eight days to book a carrier, but since my ready pickup date started on the first day I called them I felt this was in the normal booking range.
The main problem I had was that had to pay $100 more than my quoted price. The representative explained that the carriers that were willing to transport the car advised the my delivery point, Prescott AZ was out of the way. I was given the opportunity to wait and see if they could book a carrier for the quoted choice, but I wanted to get the car moved. As it turned out the carrier had to come across on I-40 to deliver a car in Albuquerque, NM, then drop down to Mesa, AZ to drop a car and then onto LA. Therefore, the delivery point wasn’t really out of the way. Unless you are having your vehicle transported to & from a city just off a major interstate you can be subject to an up charge.
On the positive side, the carrier was very good at keeping in touch with me and coordinating the move and it only took 3 days for delivery. The car arrived safe and sound. It was dirty, but the carrier has no control of the weather he has to drive through. Overall my experience was positive, except for the additional charge for which I agreed. This is why I could only give a 4 Star rating.

We know that sometimes carriers routes may be a long the same direction as freight, but not always on the same road. Gas prices plague everyone and the carriers are no exception. I'm happy that everything went well for you. :)
