My wife's parents gave us their old car ('01 Honda Accord), as long as we shipped it from their house in Texas to our house in Oregon. The pickup and delivery went exactly as planned and explained, and the car arrived in great condition, although it was a little dirty from riding through the Oregon rain in an open truck.
I was pretty skeptical about how this whole process would work, but after doing quite a bit of research and calling a few of the transport companies, I settled on Suncoast. They seemed to have a good mix of price, positive reviews, and quantity of reviews. One thing that really sold me was that, although they had a few negative reviews, they took the time to respond and explain their side of the story to each of those.
In our experience, Suncoast and the carrier they contracted did exactly what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, for the price they said they would do it for. Can't complain at all about that!
