I decided to go with Streamline to ship my Lexus from FL to SC after reading nothing but good reviews about Joanne and the company's performance. While I was not disappointed with Joanne and Streamline, the trucking company that was selected kept delaying my pickup date each day due to "mechanical problems" with one of their trucks. Not that it was a total disaster having to wait an extra week for pickup, but at least the trucking company did call me to let me know of the problem - I'll give them credit for that and I'll give Streamline credit for using a company that at least communicates with the customers. It was not a perfect delivery, but a good try to deliver on time... especially over the July 4th weekend with many on vacation.
With the hiring of any of these brokers, you got to remember that it is the trucking company that makes or breaks your experience - not the broker. Your hiring a broker for comfort. It's their experience with dealing with trucking companies that have a history of being reliable and ethical that you are purchasing. My experience shows that Steamline knows their stuff - even if the experience was less than perfect. I would not hesitate to use them again.
