Working with Stateway to transport my auto from Ohio to California started with my sending for a quote. I received a very reasonable quote of $760.00 within minutes of my inquiry.
Of course I received a flood of responses from other transporters-most of which averaged between $850.00 to $1000.00.
As a senior citizen on a very restricted income I needed a bargain!
I was very impressed with Stateway's professional, attractive website. That was the second reason I chose this company. I was told the driver would call before picking up the vehicle and would call and give me ample time to prepare to receive it. A tentative pick-up date was given-and a tentative delivery date.

A deposit of $160.00 was given over the phone with a credit card with the balance due in cash or cashiers check upon delivery. The paperwork was handled over the phone.

The driver telephoned my contact and gave a pick-up time. He was able to manuever the big rig right in front of their house.
When the driver arrived at the pick-up address in Ohio he carefully inspected the car and noted several scratches and dings. He did this on a diagram of the car and indicated the exact defect spots.
The car was delivered sooner than expected AND, right to my door. Of course it was dirty-I expected it would be. My family helped me inspect the car and there were no surprises. The driver was courteous and professional-just like the web site. Thank you Stateway for helping me navigate through this transaction.
