When I first put in my quote request I was deeply surprised to see that wide range of quotes that I received back. Prices ranged from $400 to almost $1400! I was very confused as most companies were performing the same service. Why such a difference in price? I narrowed my choices down to the three middle quotes and called to inquire about the service. The first two seemed reputable but I got the feeling that they were reading a script, a shtick just to get my money. Then I came across Stateway. Rebecca was very straightforward and honest and explained that the rates depend mainly on two factors: gas prices and broker fees. Some brokers charge $100 for their service and some charge $300, hence the price range. Other brokers are just trying to under-quote in order to get the sale and were either deliberately or unintentionally overlooking the fact that my car was an SUV. She further explained that Stateway is a carrier/broker which means that their rates are really the most accurate as they ship on their own trucks as well. This gives them an insight that regular broker companies simply don’t have and that is exactly the feeling I got from speaking with Rebecca - a piece of mind and calmness in knowing that I am dealing with a competent company. I placed my order and to this day I am glad I did. Stateway was right on time and the driver was understanding and kind. He even waited for my son to meet him. I will continue doing business with Stateway and recommending them to all of my friends.
