Careful Shipping Around the Holidays

My '73 Mustang was available to ship on Dec 14, 2011. However, due to Christmas and New Year and the seemingly 2 week vacation that the truckers took, it was not picked up until Jan 13, 2012.

This is the 2nd time I've used Stateway...If I need to transport in the future I will give them a call again. Twice now, Stateway has KEPT their quote and not tried to bump ME up, to keep their "fee" and make me pay more for the driver.

Instead, they (both times) shifted parts of their fee, back to the trucker payment. So...even though the truck driver would get more (more attractive offer to pick up)...MY price did NOT change.

Had a couple of situations arise before and during the shipment...nothing serious, but needed attention. If Susie was not able to address the situation directly, she ensured that someone else did, so that the issue was addressed in the most timely manner.

Lastly...I know that there are companies out there that give a quote (not necessarily the cheapest) and have 5 STAR ratings...but to get THAT particular quote, you MUST submit a review and THEN they "rebate" you the "rating fee" ($50 - $100). I think that this is a "crappy" way of doing business...Stateway does NOT play this game. They will give you the BEST price that they truly believe they can move your vehicle for...NO STRINGS ATTACHED.

Although it took a month to get my car...this was NOT a fault of Stateway..just bad timing on my part...I am completely satisfied with my service from Stateway...Thanks Susie!
