Great pitch, poor follow-up

Jordan from SpeedyAutoTransport had spoken with me numerous times and said all the right things to get me to bring my business to his company. He gave me a military discount, ASSURED/PROMISED an early pick-up date and even went so far as to promise, ". . .the truck will be there Thursday. . ." and many other eventual false statements. Of course, my credit card number was taken for "deposit" and of course, I never heard back from him after that point. I specifically told him that I might be selling my car locally instead of shipping it to the dealer in Utah, and asked that he please stay in contact with me as I may need to either change the date of one of the vehicles or cancel it. Well, I sold my car and after two days of trying to contact him by phone (both cell and company) and email (7 attempts total), he finally answered on Friday. He then proceeded to inform me that he was still trying to "...arrange a driver for the car in Utah" and ". . .you tried to call me yesterday?. . .I didn't get any messages from you. . .you sure you tried to call Me yesterday?" I asked to speak to a manager and he said he WAS the manager and the only person above him was the owner of the company. I asked that my order be cancelled, my credit card refunded and that I would be filing this negative review. I'll post back if my credit card was charged and let you know if scamming money is on the list of things to do to customers as well.
