Poor scheduling,

We placed the order to ship our car from CT to CA on 1/5/07. The only requirement we requested is to have the car delviery by 1/31/07. We ask that the car to be pick up anytime to ensure the car arrive by then.

Dee who took the deposit money was quick to say that can be done and she will put delivery day by 1/31/07 as a requirement.

Denise who arranges for the carrier ended up finding us a carrier that still has not pick up our car today 1/26/07. We had been calling everyday and never got a firm follow-through to find out the exact situation.

We could have gotten another carrier instead of waiting around for a carrier who still hasn't pick up our car.

A big unneccesary disappointmnet.

As a general rule we work with a pickup window of 1 – 10 days, and after pickup actual transport time from east coast to west coast is approximately 10 days. In the process of dispatch, it is a necessity to make a correlation of the customer’s vehicle ready date, and we do our best to meet time restraints. If the vehicle is picked up too soon, it will arrive possibly at the destination prior to the customer’s arrival. Unfortunately, traveling across country there can be some unforeseen delays for drivers. We at Specialty Mobile apologize for this customer’s disappointment; however, in this particular instance, this vehicle is scheduled to arrive the 1st or 2nd versus the 31st.
