I'd heard horror stories about auto transporters and had apprehensions about sending my Chrysler Town & Country Van from my home in South Florida to my son's home in California. He warned me that his good friend had a problem with the service she used and it took almost two months before her car arrived (the same route, FL to CA). We even thought about driving the car out but weighed the cost of fuel, lodging and airfare back, against shipping and decided that an auto transporter was the way to go. Anyway, I didn’t look forward to about a week of solid driving!

I found Specialty Mobile Systems by researching shippers online and liked what I heard about them. They gave me a quote that wasn’t the lowest but I felt more comfortable with the feedback that I got online. Price was a factor but so was dependability.

The picked the car up within 6 days from assignment, one day later than the projected pick up date and delivered the car to California 13 days later, only one day later than the projected delivery date. The car arrived clean and in exactly the same condition it left in.

The people at Specialty were efficient and dependable and always available on the phone and a pleasure to deal with. I would certainly recommend them to others.
