Fast, but ...

My car was picked up within 2 days after I placed the order, and was shipped from IL to WA in a week. That was really fast! I would have surely given them five stars. However ...

The truck driver, who is a Russian and came from victory transport, does NOT speak English! Needless to say, this brought out huge difficulty, which made the effective communication mission impossible. Each conversation took about 30 minutes with very little information exchanged, 80% of which was incorrect! That driver really drove me crazy! I really do not understand how he can get himself hired. He never truly got my address. And finally I had to run around to find his truck ... Besides, he did not handle it in a professional way. He kept pushing me when I did the post-examination. All he wanted was my signature. In fact, the car was very dirty after the transportation, both outside and inside.

I know the driver does not work for SMS. But at least I think SMS should give the business to someone who can speak English. Due to his nightmare-like English, I do not even know his name! Sorry for not being able to warn you guys to avoid him ...

Rule of thumb we work with an estimated pickup window of 1 – 10 days, and after pickup, delivery from IL to WA is an average delivery time of 7 – 10 days. It is phenomenal that this customer’s vehicle was picked up in 2 days and delivered in less than a week! It was mentioned that the vehicle arrived dirty, but that is what happens when a vehicle is transported on an open transporter travels over 2600 miles.

Unfortunately this customer did not have a pleasant experience with the driver. We at Specialty Mobile do not discriminate based on nationality. In order for a company to be affiliated with us, we have copies of authority permits and insurance; we look for drivers that have satisfactory records with the Department Transportation whether they are one of our personal drivers or one that we have brokered to. I do not know the specifics on the final inspection. In some cases drivers may be on tight schedules trying to stay on time with other deliveries they have to complete. It is a customers right to take as long as they need to complete an final inspection because it is such an important aspect of the move. Occasionally in any industry there are language barriers to overcome. Our number one priority is a safe and secure move; which did indeed happen.

<br&
