We were originally planning to move in December, but our plans changed and we needed to move in October. I placed a call to Specialty Mobile only 10 days prior to our move and explained that we needed to change the day. They gave no problem with moving our day and there was no fee for doing so. They told us that they would call 24 hours before pickup. On the day prior to pickup, I had not received a phone call, so I contacted customer service. They stated that the available date was the first of five days that the vehicle would be picked up. We were not explained this originally and this caused a problem. Customer service began to resolve our problem diligently. Within a few hours we received a call from customer service stating that the driver would be at our house in 2 hours to pick up the vehicle. The drivere who then arrived was very courteous and thoroughly inspected the vehicle prior to driving it on the truck. The driver was also very careful to make sure that he had all contact numbers so that when he arrived he could notify us our vehicle was ready. Upon arrival, the driver had a difficult time getting my vehicle started. Apparently the battery had gone dead during transit. The driver kept the vehicle overnight and charged the battery. The next day he was able to get the car started. Since the driver was unable to arrive directly at my house, he met me at a retail store parking lot. Since I was unable to drive two vehicles home, he offered to drive one to my house and then I could take him back to his truck. That was going above and beyond. Although we had a couple of kinks in the experience, they were all handled to the best of anyone's ability and I would recommend Specialty Mobile to anyone who needs a vehicle transported.
