I recently sold my very pampered IROC Camaro to a gentleman in California. He asked me to help him make arrangements for transporting the vehicle to him. I did the normal internet search and came upon this website. I got quotes from about five or six of the best rated companies and provided this information to the buyer. I also talked to several of my friends who shared horror stories and couldn't recommend anyone really good. So I recommended SMS to the buyer as they had the best reviews, were easy to contact, had weekend hours and gave us a competitive price. From reading the other reviews, I knew that the quality of service would most likely be determined by the specific carrier that SMS brokered for my move. As it turned out, the the move went pretty smooth. Curt (Wide City Tranportation) did a good job at inspecting the vehicle prior to shipping, and he and his assistant took great care in loading the car on the transporter. The IROC arrived in California less than a week. Other than not getting too much notice prior to pick-up and drop-off the move went better than I expected. I think SMS does a good job at making sure that the carriers they use are qualified, experienced and customer focused. I would recommend and use again.
