I have bought a 3 cars in other states. One in Florida, one in Mississippi, and this one in MA. I live in Iowa. The one in FL. I was told would be picked up in seven days. After 3 weeks they told me they were having problems getting a hold of the driver. I was disgusted and flew down to pick it up and drove it back. It took 3 days of my time to get it done. The bad experience made me pick up the car in MS. and tow it back. I decided to try one more time with shipping and found the reviews on this site to be very helpful. I read many stories on different shippers (some nightmares). I own my own business and we try to make everyone happy all the time but I know it is not always possible. The reviews posted on Specialty Mobile Systems had the most promise I felt. I called and requested a price and estimate on how long it would take. They estimated a pickup time of 7-10 days. One additional week for transport. They called in four days with a driver and picked up the car within 5 days of the call. They picked up the car on the promised day (Wed.) and delivered it 4 days later. The driver called 2 days prior to tell me it would be Sun. and it was. Sat afternoon he called to say it would be between 4pm and 6 pm. on Sun. Sunday afternoon he called at 2PM, told me where he was, and asked if I would just confirm his directions to my house.
Everything from the first phone call all the way to the delivery went perfect.. Absolutely astounding. The driver was as professional as I could ever expect.. Specialty Mobile Systems even called to make sure everything went OK.
They delivered the car in excellent shape and were firm on the price.
I'm very impressed and would give them my business again without a second thought.
