I am very pleased with my experience with Specialty Mobile Systems. Amy and Denise were both wonderful to deal with. The first carrier they had booked to pick up my car was ready to pick up the car the same day I made my reservation (super quick!), however the contact person in New Jersey could not leave work due to extenuating circumstances that day. This carrier never notified Specialty Mobile nor me of what was going on. I didn't find out until two days later, the day I was expecting my car, that it had not shipped. I had emailed my contact in New Jersey and he had then called me, and he explained what had happened. I then called Specialty Mobile to find out if the pickup had been rescheduled, and found out they had no idea the car had not been shipped. At that point, they called the carrier, who gave them a story different than what my contact was telling me. When Specialty Mobile tried to contact them again to straighten things out, they did not return phone calls. This was on a Thursday. Specialty Mobile finally reached them on Monday, and a pickup date was set for that Wednesday. On Wednesday morning, this carrier called to cancel. Specialty Mobile called me Wednesday afternoon with another carrier set to pick up my car the next morning. This time, everything went just perfect, and I had my car by 5:00 Friday evening. Specialty Mobile did everything in their power to make sure everything went smoothly, including making sure my New Jersey contact got an hour notice so he could leave work and be there when they came to pick up the car. Amy and Denise were super nice, and you can tell they really care that things are done right and that you have a good experience from the time you book your reservation to the moment you get your car. I would not hesitate to use this company again for auto transport. It's a shame there are some less-than-honest people out there who just don't care how they treat their customers...the first carrier involved should be ashamed. But I think they really couldn't care less. It doesn't matter now; I know who they are and I will remember. But I would definitely use the services of Specialty Mobile again.
