Sonic did their job as promised. Keep in mind all this transport companies are brokers. I dealt with Helen at Sonic. Keep in mind all these names, Helen, Nick or John Cooper are fake names. You are dealing with a call center in India. Also this is a bait and switch deal. They initially said $575 to ship the car from Frisco TX to North Chicago. Then they came back and said either $1100.00 or $975. The broker charged me $400 for their fees and $575 to be paid to the driver. My car was supposed to be picked up on 9/7 and delivered by 9/10. But the truck broke down and instead another transport company owned and operated by Yunior called me and said he can pick up the vehicle 9/6 and delivered by 9/9. I was happy. He came to my house picked up my car 9/6 afternoon. I called him Tuesday afternoon to get status update. He has not left Dallas yet, as his truck broke down and getting it fixed. I called " Helen", in India and she immediately followed up and said vehicle would be delivered by Friday 9/10. Anway Yunior left 9/7 afternoon and delivered the car to my daughter in North Chicago last night 9/9, at 11.30 PM. I am very happy about that. I could have gone to other companies that quoted me $700. Never go for the cheapest price and be prepared to pay an additional $300 to 400 to the initial price quoted. Sonic says the $400 is for insurance etc. Which is bull shit. Insurance is carried by the actual transport company. Sonic Transport was fast and efficient. The driver only takes cash, cashiers check or money order. I paid in cash upon delivery. Imagine if I had a cashiers check or money order in the name of the transport company and last minute the transport company changed.
