We needed to transport my son's car from Virginia to Wisconsin. I had contacted a different company originally and after over two weeks I still hadn't been given a pickup date and had not heard a word from them, although my CC had been charged. I tried to phone them and they didn't answer the phone and didnt' get back to me by either email or phone for an entire day. At this point I decided to change carriers. I'm SO glad I went with Showtime Auto. I spoke to Martin on the phone and he immediately sent me the contract to fax over and gave me a pickup date of Tuesday which was only days away. I was so pleased. The car actually was picked up a day earlier than expected, which again I was thrilled about. My son had no problems on his end...driver was courteous and prompt. They kept in touch with us and let us know well in advance when the car would be in Wisconsin as we drove there from Michigan to pick it up. The driver again was courteous and friendly, the car in great shape, and everything inside the car was there as expected. I was so relieved as the first company had been rather a nightmare. I did pay about $200 more than the first company quoted, but to me it was worth every cent as they made the process completely effortless. I wish I had gone with them to begin with, it would have saved us time and stress. As someone else pointed out, the lowest quote isn't necessarily the best quote. If I ever had to move a car again I would definitely go with Showtime. Thanks to everyone at Showtime ie Martin (who orginally set it up with me by phone), Frank (who phoned me to let me know when the car would be in Wisconsin and arranged a time and pickup place)and to Gary the driver who was so friendly and obviously a good driver. I don't normally leave reviews but like I said, I'm just so thankful to have found such a good company that saved me from any more stress over moving this car and hope they can do the same for someone else.
