I initially had a different shipping company post my vehicle to the national dispatch board. Chris from Showtime called me up and did a good job convincing me he could ship my vehicle quicker and for less money. So I switched to using Showtime.

Chris told me he almost always hits his quoted price, and if not, it is usually only $25 to $100 more. He also told me it should only be a week or two weeks tops before my vehicle was picked up.

My initial quote was for $850, but it ended up costing $1150. Had I known it was going to be an extra $300 I probably wouldn't have switched from my original shipping company. Also, it took 19 days (including weekends) from the day I submitted my deposit, until the day my vehicle was picked up...mind you this was a very stressful 2.5 weeks as my car was sitting at someone's house and they wanted it out of there ASAP.

The extra money and delayed pickup wasn't entirely Showtime's fault. My vehicle was in Albuquerque, NM which is not a city frequented by truckers. However, I wish I would have known ahead of time that the pickup could take that long and cost that much more.
