From the time that I called to the delivery of my boat was barely 60 hours. This is particularly amazing in view of the fact that the move was 1200 miles from MD to WI.

I bought a 2004 21' Parker 2120 (about 5000 lbs wet, including trailer) and needed it transported to WI from MD.

Prior to purchase, I inspected the trailer and thought the tires looked good, as they only had about 300 miles on them. Unfortunately, over the ten years the trailer had been sitting around in the sun, there was apparently some dry rot that occurred. This resulted in a flat tire and full delamination of one tire on the PA Turnpike. Fortunately, the trailer was dual axle and the driver/boat were not harmed in any way!

I got a call from my driver, Dusty, who calmly explained the situation, noted that it was 6:30 pm in the evening, and that options were limited. Then he proactively found a WalMart that was able to reinstall new tires of the same brand and size so that he would not lose much time. He told me how much the new tires would cost, and I happily wired the money that night. He ended up only losing a few hours to the problem and delivering the boat at exactly the time that was originally promised.

My only suggestion to the company would be that they should explicitly tell customers that there will be a delay if there is a mechanical failure to allow the drivers to chill out and get some sleep - but I was completely happy and everything exceeded my expectations!

I would certainly use this company again.

When researching companies/individuals willing to transport your boat, make sure to research the licensing and credentials that people have on the federal websites. Showroom Transport appears to be legit to me. But probably 75% of the people who I found who were willing to transport my boat (some through iShip) had no current credentials that I could find. And many were dismissive of my efforts to even do any research. And some had officially "revoked" credentials.

Showroom Transport is a good company that will try to do right by you. That's my impression.
