I had never shipped a car before so I was a bit nervous. I started searching early and found Ship A Car Direct and John answered all my questions in advance of committing to ship with them. I did choose them and found them to be organized, professional, structured, and reasonable. Their fee of $250 for coordinating the carrier was priceless. My car was picked up on time and the driver was knowledgeable and experienced. My car arrived in San Francisco right on time and I was able to use it for my entire trip. The car was in great condition (except for some dirt and dust-all quite expected) and everything went very well. For any new timers, it will be important for you to have the name and address of the carrier if you are going to get a cashier's check to pay them. Also, you may have to meet them somewhere other than your home if you live on a narrow street (I did). We meet at a home depot parking lot to pick up the car and then on a wide-open street in San Francisco. The driver was excellent and communicated with me via phone and text to give me updates. In the end, I will use Ship A Car Direct again when I am sending my car back home. They were excellent!!
