Did some research on company options online, and Ship a Car was one of very few that seemed to promise the rate. Move was cross country, 4 door sedan, quoted price was less than 1500, Quoted transport time was 10 days. The carrier they selected was ready to go right away (actually wanted to come early, which was the online hiccup and very minor, they tried to come before the "available" date) but once they took possession, it was only 7 days and dropoff/pickup was quite literally door to door. Paperwork was detailed about existing dings, etc, and mileage was exactly same as on pickup. Ship a car had an app, which was a nice thought to archive the pictures, but could use some improvement. It doesn't have a login, so you end up making like 3+ drafts and it just generates an email in the end. I would just take my own photos for your archive, anyway.
