This is my 5th time using Ship-a-car Direct, and they are consistently great. My representative, Wade, was very attentive and his coordinating a driver went very smoothly. However, I did have a poor experience with the carrier this go round. The driver and company, US Cars Transport, exhibited poor communication about arrival day and time, which made it difficult to arrange, and were then non-responsive and difficult to reach for several days near the expected delivery date. Ship-A-Car direct even had difficulty contacting them for a status update on day 7 with the expectation of arrival on day 8. Once they got a hold of them on day 8, the dispatch told them that my car would definitely be delivered that day. However, it took the transport company almost 6 hours to contact me, only to then say my car would not be delivered until the following day because they didn't have a driver to bring it from their hub near LA. After my expressing significant disappointment with the lack of communication and customer service and the need to get to a very important doctor's visit that I couldn't cancel last minute, a representative was able to arrange a late delivery to me about 8pm. The overall experience once everything was handed to the transport company was very stressful so I don't recommend them, but Ship-A-car direct was very helpful and did everything they could to assist during the process.
