This is the first time I've ever shipped a car. My experience did not go without a hitch, but all worked out well. I was told that the shipper needed a 3 - 4 day window to pick up the car and another 4 - 7 days to ship it. I made my plans around those timeframes, and told them that it would be available for pickup on Dec. 10 and to deliver it after Dec 16. I was surprised when the shipper was able to pick it up on the first available ship date of Dec. 10. Then I was notified that the car was ready to be delivered on Dec. 15- the day I left for my destination. All worked out ok, as the car was held locally in the destination city and delivered on Dec. 17 by a local driver. I was satisfied with the condition of the car when it was delivered and will probably use Ship a Car Direct next time I need to have my car shipped.
