I searched multiple companies and reviews, and received multiple price quotes before settling with Ship a Car Direct. I never had a car shipped before, so everything was a new process to me. My contact at Ship a Car Direct, Scott, made everything really easy up front. He was always good to get back with me via email or phone. I knew this was a broker type company and they contracted services out. The first driver coordinator they set me up with was not native English speaking, was very hard to communicate with, and sounded as though he was being bothered every time we spoke. He provided me with his driver ph#, but I was never able to get in touch with the driver after several days of trying. Scott at Ship a Car Direct got in touch with me later and said because they weren't able to get in touch with driver and I wasn't either, that they had removed that driver from the list and were moving on to find me another driver/company. It was less than 24hrs before Scott found another driver/company available to ship in my time frame and within my cost limits. From there, things went pretty flawlessly. The driver, Alex, with Safe Way Auto Inc was extremely friendly and communicated well. He even gave me options for delivery times that were convenient for me. He backed my car out very carefully (even though the car was not really in any show condition) and gave me plenty of time to inspect the car and ask questions. Overall, even considering I have nothing to compare to, this was a really easy experience and I would definitely use them again.
