This move cross country, which involved transporting 5 pets and selling a house, was the most stressful move I've ever done. Ship a Car Direct, and my superstar contact Eve, the transport of my car actually provided some relief. Although there were 32 cars ahead of me in the Raleigh-Durham area, Eve kept me posted about my place in line. Her information proved correct when the car was picked up 5 days before my move, and arrived in San Francisco at about the same time my plane did! The cost of shipping the car was about half as much as shipping most of my belongings. Fine. And the cats were much happier flying than driving. I had used Ship a Car Direct to have a car shipped to my daughter. So this was my second great experience with the company. I hope I never have to move cross country again, but if I do I'll certainly use them again.
