After hunting around the internet to find out who is currently the best auto transport company, I settled on three highly reviewed and well established auto transport companies. One was a broker/carrier, the other two, including Ship-a-Car-Direct, were brokers only. After interviewing each of them and peppering them with questions, I was still not sure who to use. So I went back and read as many reviews as I could about each of them. What finally tipped my decision was the consistently high customer care reviews for Ship-a-Car-Direct. And I must say, they were accurate. From the moment I first got a quote, John took my transport on as his own project, and was there for me with quick responses and answers via email, text, and phone from that point until I accepted delivery. I really can't say enough about their customer care, it was stellar. After I caused a small problem by not having my contact in Chicago ready to hand off the car, John seamlessly took it in stride, and had another carrier ready the next day. It was a company called MDX and their driver Vlad was also A-1. Communicative, quick and friendly. The car was picked up on a Thursday in Chicago, delivered to Los Angeles on the next Tuesday, one end covered in a smattering of bugs but otherwise in perfect condition. All in all a great experience. I highly recommend this outfit!
