Shipped my son’s car from Portland OR to a Chicago suburb.. Process went smoothly. Got a preliminary quote and was told that it may vary a little bit due to the trucker and the market condition. Initially a $255 deposit was charged to my CC. 3 weeks later I was given a revised of quote that was $150 higher due to the increase in fuel pricess which I can understand . David from Ship a Car Direct was nice enough to offer a $50 credit which I accepted. Total cost to ship was $875 which I thought was still a great deal. I was contacted by a company called Elite Transport to pick up the car. They were professional and fast to pick up the car. I prepaid the balance of the fee with a cashier check. Before loading up the car I used the app from Ship a Car Direct to snap pictures of whole car. The car made it there in less than 4 days with no issue. Overall everything went well. Communication from both the broker, Ship a Car, and the transport company were fast and courteous. I will use these guys again in the future.
