Ship a car direct is helpful in finding a carrier for your car, but it can be unsettling to have very limited information about the transportation carrier company. It is a bit of a bet on whether or not the carrier company will be easy to communicate with. Ship a Car Direct is just the middle man. I was lucky to be paired with a reliable driver after the first company I was paired with didn't return my calls.
