From this experience, it does not help to secure the transportation, if you provide ample time. It was easier and less stressful to have a shorter turnaround time. Since I was nervous that they would be unable to find drivers during the holidays, I moved the date up a week. They were able to load the car that day.
The drivers, Alex and Derek, were very professional- kept in touch while there were in the Los Angeles area, friendly, efficient. The truck was impressive- very new! They arrived in Texas earlier than expected which was a relief, since I was depending on a friend as a point of contact.
