Broker was ok, shipper was great

I shipped 2 cars from Overland Park Kansas to Eagle Idaho. Initial contact with broker was good. We were selling our home and driving to Idaho. I said that I needed a pickup before a given date and a drop off on or after a give date. We had sold our house and were staying in an Airbnb until our closing on our home in Eagle. I did get emails saying that they were looking for a driver. Not sure I really believe that put much effort into that. We ended up having to stay an extra day at our Airbnb costing us $180 because they did not arrange a pick in our requested time frame. I was willing to do even a week ahead. It may be just the business, but it was a frustrating process. Broker kept switching reps. I will say the shippers they picked were awesome. When I received their contact info they were prompt in reply and met our pickup request (it was already past our requested pick up date but that was not the fault of the shipper). They were very friendly when I dropped off the car and allowed us to transport quite a bit of "stuff" in the car as well without any issue. They were waiting on us when we drove into Idaho and communication from the shipper was excellent. I would give the shipper a 5 without reservation.
