Ship a Car Direct was very easy to work with. They were very clear about how the process worked. They select the appropriate transporter once you submit your order. $225 was charged to a credit card at that time. They provide a contact for the transporter. The transporter met me at the car at which time it is brought back to a "yard" to be loaded later on the destination trailer.
The balance of the bill is paid to the driver at the time of delivery. Keep in mind that the payment to the driver is cash or certified check only. No damage at all.
