I had my car shipped from Austin to Seattle. A carrier was contacted about a week before my pickup date, and the carrier contacted me directly. Pickup was quick and around the time we had negotiated, and the car arrived about 4 days later in Washington. The driver kept in contact with me and let me know when to expect arrival. Car arrived in good condition (though dirty, as expected with open shipping) with no damage.
