Being that this was my first time ever shipping a car, I was extremely nervous. Especially since I was shipping across the country. I wanted everything to go smoothly with my newly leased car. My car got picked up a little bit early. It was scheduled for pick up on Christmas Eve, but I received a call around 9pm EST the night before saying that the truck was on the way. I was already in California and had told my cousin that the truck would be there the next day. He asked her to bring the car to a Walmart parking lot a little while away. I ended up giving her the man's number and she worked something out with him. He got my car and it was on the way! 9 days later, I got a call saying that my car would be here within the hour. I worked out arrangements with the driver about coming down my street and he pulled up a could minutes later. My car was in great shape! I had a couple of shoes on the inside and nothing was touched. The outside of the car was filthy (from the cross country trip) and the inside was a little dirty from people driving it on and off the ramp. Other than that, everything was perfect! The man who dropped off my car was so nice and my dad was just chatting away with him. I'm happy that I was so nervous in the beginning and ended up having such a great experience.

Always glad when it's a great experience! And you are so right, Indi, most cars need a good wash after a cross country trip!
