We had a good experience transporting our car (Toyota Corolla) by Ship-a-Car-Direct from Los Angeles, CA to Houston, TX. We had given them 3-day window (Tue-Thu) to pick the car. They were able to assign a carrier (DY Trucking) and pick the car the very next day (Tue). That was a welcome experience.

The truck driver (Donald) let us put household items in the trunk, which saved us additional shipping costs. It's usually not recommended to put stuff in the shipped vehicle, due to theft, but since in our case there was none, we wouldn't mind doing it again, if have to ship a car again. :)

We reached in Houston by air on Saturday, and next morning 9am, Donald delivered us our car. So, we didn't have to spend any money on car rental, which was excellent.

All in all, we are happy with the service, and would recommend them.

Thank you for your amazing recommendation, Rajendra! It's true, we don't recommend leaving household items in the car and not all carriers can accommodate it but it's great to hear it worked out in your case.
