I recently moved from Los Angeles, CA to Charlotte, NC and needed to ship my car (an SUV). That was such an overwhelming task because there are SO MANY options out there and how do you know who is reliable and trustworthy? I did a fair bit of research and Ship A Car Direct seemed like the best choice. I reached out to them and ended up speaking with Scott. He was professional, helpful, and (most importantly) put my mind at ease about the process. The fact they they are so selective about the carriers they use was a big selling point for me. I wasn't shopping for a huge bargain (why risk my vehicle for a couple hundred bucks?!) but I do feel like the price Scott quoted me was very reasonable and competitive. I also liked the fact that Ship A Car Direct then shopped around for the best carrier for my situation and found a really great one! The carrier was pleasant and communicative. He picked up within the time-frame promised and I felt totally comfortable handing my car over to him. There was a 3-day delay in transport (a piece of debris punctured the hydraulic tank on the car hauler which then needed to be replaced in Arizona) but I was made aware of the delay and the driver kept in constant contact about the updated drop-off time. Scott also kept in touch with me to track my progress (since I was in direct communication with the carrier). At no point did I feel like I was receiving too much (or too little) communication. It was definitely a job well done and I'm so thankful I found Ship A Car Direct! I will 100% use them for future shipping needs!
