Ship a Car Direct

I shipped my car from Seattle, Washington to North Carolina. I have to say, I was very pleased with Ship A Car Direct's service from start to finish. I reached out to a dozen different brokers, and the difference was noticeable. To start with, 10 out of the 12 places I contacted didn't even gather the required info to give me a quote right up front. This resulted in tons of calls, emails, etc from people who were basically not organized. David Franco at Ship A Car Direct, on the other hand, was organized and efficient right from the beginning.
I chose them based on two things. First, price was good. It was within $100 of the other company I considered after the initial quotes. And they have a LOT of reviews. Hey, there are some bad reviews, some great reviews. But lots of reviews. I felt like it was risky choosing some random company. I was super glad to see they had thousands of reviews across a few sites. That means they do business. A lot of business. The competition was hard to read, with very few reviews on line.
In terms of service, David, my Ship A Car Direct contact, was fantastic. Thorough, professional, attentive. He never left me stranded, worried, or out of touch.
The carrier (the trucking company that actually moved the car) had a truck break down, so the delivery was 7 days late. I wasn't impressed with their communication, but David from Ship A Car Direct called them every day for me, kept me updated, and followed through until my car arrived.
Overall, I'm glad I chose Ship A Car Direct. They were professional, cost effective, pleasant, dedicated, and easy to work with. From the first quote to the final follow through after my car was delivered, I felt like I was in good hands. I can't imagine the hassle of trying to arrange the trucking company myself or figuring out insurance stuff. David Franco made the whole process a breeze.
