Transport of 2009 Ford Fusion from SC to Calif

I spoke with Matt from Ship a Car Direct and filled out a Vehicle shipment Order Form on Friday 11/21/2014. My first available pick up date was Monday 11/24/2014 (This was Thanksgiving week) to pick up my 2009 Ford fusion from Bamberg, South Carolina and transport it to San Diego, California. The car was picked up Saturday afternoon on 11/30/ 2014 and arrived in San Diego, California Saturday morning on 12/06/2014 just as the driver of Smooth Auto Transport said it would. I had no damage to my Vehicle. I received e-mails from Matt prior to Pick up stating that because of the holiday things were a bit slow. I was not surprised and to be honest I didn't think they would get anyone all though I hoped they would. After the pick up he was in contact with me via e-mail letting me know to keep in touch with Smooth Auto Transport for updates, not to sign the Bill of Lading before checking out the car and if anything was wrong write it on the Bill of lading. I was in touch with the dispatch Person, Pamela, who was very nice to in South Carolina and my daughter in San Diego. The total cost quoted was $1,025.00. A deposit of $225.00 was paid Ship a Car Direct on Sunday 12/1/2014 and the balance of $800.00 was paid to the driver via Cashier's check upon arrival of the car after inspection. I am very pleased with Ship a Car Direct for there services (Matt contacted me to see if the car had arrived safely, this is the third vehicle I have had transported to California but the first time I have had this much contact with the Broker) and Smooth Auto Transport for there delivery services. I may have to have my vehicle returned to South Carolina in 2015, if so I plan to obtain the services of Matt from Ship a Car Direct.
