Three days to ship from Florida to California!

This was the first time I ever did business with a car shipping company. Emily was very patient about answering questions and extremely prompt about responding back to phone calls and emails- very professional! I was able to have a carrier assigned almost immediately the day I called. It was with Black Knight Auto. As soon as I got my carrier assigned I was all set, and prepared to leave approximately three or four weeks in advance and I made it very clear to ship a car that I needed to be in California to pay and inspect my car since I had nobody to do so.
When Black Knight Auto two days before my scheduled pickup the told
Me it would take only three days. This was the only thing that went wrong- they were going to take my car on a Friday and it would arrive Monday...from Florida to California. I would still be in Florida, not able to be there for arrival. I didn't hear anywhere that it would take three days. That is non stop crazy fast. It's good to know, but I wouldn't be there to handle the arrival of my car. So then, I had to reschedule. I was panicked and worried that I wouldn't get a carrier fast enough because it was taking so long for anything to be available. At this point, everybody pretty much had their hands tied. I wasn't going to cancel, because it would be the same thing with any company and ship a car had to wait just as long as I did to find a carrier. But it was extremely stressful to feel that I wouldn't get my car, or that I would need to rent a car. But of course, I did get a carrier assigned the day I flew out of florida. The company was Three lines auto transport. They were going to pickup my car that Friday and it would arrive Monday. Just as I learned from before, three days. Worst part about the experience, I didn't have a car to use for about five and a half days, though one of my friends did let me use her car when I really needed to use it.
After all of the worries, my car showed up in its original condition, the drivers were very responsive to my calls, and easy going, and Emily remained helpful throughout the entire process. All I would change about my experience is that I wish I knew how fast the drive really took or that the carrier company was aware of
My schedule...but I couldn't ask for better customer service.

Thank you for your feedback, Lindsey! Great to hear Emily was helpful throughout! Sorry the timing was stressful for you. It's a good point for future shippers - there are no holding stations, the transport is direct. Someone has to be available to meet the carrier when the carrier arrives. Most shippers have to leave their vehicle with a friend/relative on one end or the other.
