Our experience with Ship a Car Direct was very pleasant. Their customer service was outstanding and they are a member of the BBB.
They negotiate a price with the direct transporter. You have the opportunity to review the carrier in advance before you commit. If you do not agree, they keep looking until you are satisfied.
Their carrier's cover your shipment 100 percent, or they pay. Our transporter kept in touch with us via cell phone throughout the entire journey. The car was picked up in Florida west of Fort Lauderdale on a Friday and delivered the following Tuesday south of Houston, Texas to the exact location requested.
I would suggest reading their terms and conditions to clarify understanding of the process and to jot down any questions or concerns before contacting a representative. Emily with Ship a Car Direct was our contact. Her customer service and company awareness was exceedingly refreshing.
She answered all our questions and was prompt at returning any calls or emails.
